While organizing PlugOS files on my laptop today, I accidentally deleted a few documents. Now I’m a bit worried: When I connect to PlugOS via my phone at home, will these deleted files still be there? Or do different devices see separate content?
Files will disappear synchronously, as all files are actually stored within this device. Both laptops and mobile phones merely serve as windows to access this “device.”
When you delete a file on your computer, you are actually removing the source file from within the PlugMate device. Therefore, when you switch to connecting the same PlugMate device via your mobile phone, the deleted file will no longer exist. It is recommended to manually back up important files to a secure location on a regular basis.
