Due to our security‑oriented design philosophy, PlugMate does not implement a remote‑locking feature. The device is built with two‑factor authentication and robust full‑disk encryption as core security safeguards. Should your PlugMate become lost or stolen, unauthorized third‑party users will be unable to complete authentication to log into the device, nor can they decrypt your stored data through alternative attack vectors. All user‑sensitive data remains encrypted at rest, so your private information stays protected even if physical possession of the hardware is lost.
