no, plugos requires a host in order to run, if you would switch off the iphone os plug os client won’t be able to run. but plugos is superior to virtualization because it doesn’t share memory and CPU with the host OS.
it is worth mentioning that PlugOs client includes basic countermeasures against common screen capture and input-logging techniques. meaning your data is safe inside the plugos

While running the plug OS, would the host OS still be active ie would the host phone still ring and receive messages on both cellular and on what’s app
Yes, the host OS remains fully active while PlugOS is running.
You can still receive phone calls, SMS, WhatsApp messages, and use all your phone apps normally at the same time.
