I would like to create an exact clone of my Plugmate after install and setup of all my banking and other security apps. In case, the first plugmate gets spoilt or lost, the second is ready to go with all information and setup done. There are some apps that require the original app to verify if you are installing or moving to a new device. This is very inconvenient and sometimes impossible if your old device is spoilt or lost/stolen. Please advise how this can be done. Thanks!
Currently, the backup and restore function of PlugOS mainly supports the backup and recovery of important file data. App data backup is still under development and not officially available yet.
As for the full device clone solution to bypass the new-device verification of banking and other security apps, it is not included in our current product support plan. Furthermore, this is a critical security measure, and we do not recommend performing such actions.

Thanks Jack for the explanation. I have activated the Developer mode and the USB debugging on the Plugmate and wonder if it is possible for me to use adb commands to backup Plugmate instead?
You can try using ADB on your Windows or macOS computer to operate and manage the PlugMate device, just like controlling a regular Android phone.
From a security perspective, i do not recommend keeping Developer Mode enabled for long-term daily use.
