MicroCrypt – For The Ones We Hold Dear

Hi dear PlugOS community!

We all love our PlugMate, but what should you do if you travel abroad and wish to communicate securely with your loved ones, like parents or grand parents and want to avoid third-party centralized messengers encryption, to send a message, without a high learning curve for using OpenPGP and such?

I thought about this and invented MicroCrypt which currently runs on Android, Windows and Linux and is localized for DE, RU, EN.

It is super easy to use and prior departure you only need to exchange your password with your loved ones.

I would appreciate if someone could localize it for CN and when doing so please DM me here.

Nice little tool.

One thought: if you bundled stuff like this into a bigger “Swiss Army knife” style app, it could become a proper everyday privacy toolkit instead of a single-purpose app. Just an idea.

but I like to keep my tools small for single purpose usage, same as Unix philosophy.
