The V1.5.6 Beta Release of PlugOS Client for Linux

The new Linux Beta (x64) version of the PlugOS Client is now available for testing.

This release adds support for camera access, backup & restore, file transfer, shared folders, and device-to-host clipboard synchronization.

It is compatible with Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora and Red Hat Enterprise Linux; some older system versions are not supported.

Installation Methods:
Install via curl
curl -fsSL https://plugos.net/assets/linux-updates/install.sh | bash

Install via wget
wget -q -O- https://plugos.net/assets/linux-updates/install.sh | bash

Launch PlugOS Client:

Open the application via the desktop icon.

If the PlugOS icon does not appear on some Linux versions, run the following command in terminal: flatpak run com.trustkernel.plugos.client

Tested this in a Qubes OS standalone VM running Debian 13. I only had to manually install the keyring (seahorse), create a default password vault, and set it as the default. After that, I was able to register the stick and boot. Great to finally have an Android system for testing under Qubes OS—thanks a lot! Now I no longer need to start a Windows VM for this.
