as a privacy focused device, i should have a freedom, i see calculator, notes, voice recorder, siyu keyboard, Veil, I can not uninstall if i wanted to use alternative apps.
please in next update, provide the option to delete those apps, disable will not help, because it will still consume the battery.
and regarding Veil, can we get more info, and can you add the extensions support as well, like other chromium based browser have added the support, and it will be very helpful
Thanks for your valuable feedback. We fully understand your expectation for user freedom on this privacy-focused device. These basic apps come with privacy enhancements, ready for users with less technical experience. You can disable them in App Info if you don’t use them.We will review your suggestions and explore adding uninstall options and Veil browser extension support.
thanks jack, yes it would be really helpful, if we get freedom to choose the app which we want to use and remove it. and yes extension support is needed, because by default we use fennec fdroid or other chromium browser which remove the ads and make website light, right now when i open the website on veil, and it was showing ads and so many trackings on the website, i feel it is not comfortable, and i can not install 2-3 browsers, because it will eat space.
